Community Supported Agriculture is a way for you to obtain quality produce locally, direct from farmers. By signing up in advance before the season you help plan our crops better resulting in less waste. A partnership between farmers an consumers for both to benefit from. Getting to know each other, know where your food comes from and more about. Knowing that its clean, fresh, and healthy
Why harvest hill farms?
We are conveniently located outside of Great Bend PA in Windsor NY. A short 4 minute drive from the state line coming from Kirkwood down Route 11. We grow biodynamic produce, we practice livestock rotation to build our soils. We are dedicated to thriving with our environment treating it as one whole organism. Our holistic approach and planting by the moon are one of the many ways we protect our land,water and air. These are all vital to everyday life. Biodynamic farming goes beyond organic produce be sure to come join our 7th season of fun.
Risks:
Harvest Hill farm is dedicated to providing its CSA shareholders with generous quantities of freshly picked Biodynamic heirloom products. Weather and nature do affect the varieties and quantities available. Early in the season there will be less than towards the middle of the season.
Pickup:
Location:Windsor
Pckup is right on the farm on Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm with options for late pick-up and delivery. Please bring appropriate bags. At the pickup site you will select your week’s share able to mix and match what you don't want. We will provide a weekly list we anticipate to have a few days before pick up and you can coordinate with us what you would like to switch out. There will be a good amount of fresh heirloom produce and pick your own herbs and flowers. A farmer will be near by to help. Your account must be paid in full in order to pick up your share.
If you feel you wont use the full 20 weeks of your share we also have other options.
